You really need to make more like this, this is fantastic. Great amount of detail and variety in the city. Have you thought about coloring it in photoshop?

Thanks! I had thought about colorizing it, but even in color it would be 99% grey so I decided not to. I'd like to do more like it, this current septych will be on a similar scale once complete. I also have plans for a more Breugel type castle panorama, but it's only in very early stages.

This must have taken forever! I like the style. Reminds me of those David Macauley books on architecture.

This looks like it would be a much better TV show than Suddenly Susan. Stunning intricacy, I love the exaggerated perspective and nearly pathological attention to detail. I wish I had your patience and precision!

Fantastic vista/panorama/insert the right word here! :D I like it as B&W but it might look good in those old world kind of watery colours you see in old prints of cities. I gave my 4 year old niece a book with some of those in. One was a print of the famous pic of death pumping water in london. I ended up explaining cholera to her. she spent the next 2 days explaining to every person she met why they shouldn't drink poo. Doh! I'm not so popular with my sister now...

Thanks, and for the favorite! I'm not allowed around kids for the same reasons, I keep telling them things their parents wish they'd never learn.
